What are rolling papers made of?

Rolling papers are made from thin plant fibers such as wood pulp, rice, hemp, or flax, each affecting burn rate and flavor. Rice and hemp papers burn slower and thinner, while wood pulp papers are easier for beginners to grip and roll.

What size rolling papers should I get?

Choose rolling paper size by how much you want to roll: 1 1/4 is the everyday standard for solo use, single wide is smaller, and king size suits larger rolls for sharing. Beginners often find 1 1/4 the easiest size to handle and roll evenly.

What is the difference between hemp and rice rolling papers?

Hemp rolling papers are slightly thicker with more texture, making them easier to grip and roll, while rice papers are ultra-thin for a slow, near-flavorless burn. Rice suits experienced rollers who want minimal paper taste; hemp offers a more forgiving learning curve.
