How to choose
Pick by how much you use it. The Junior is the compact one — pocket and bag sized, best for occasional use and travel. The Original is the standard and the one most people want: bigger capacity, still easy to hold. The Mega roughly doubles the filtration capacity of the Original, so it lasts longest and suits shared or heavy use. All three work the same way — exhale through it and the filter does the rest.

- You exhale your smoke into the mouthpiece instead of into the room. The smoke passes through layers of filter media inside the unit, which trap the smoke particles and the odor, so what leaves the other end is essentially clean, odorless air.
- How long does a Smokebuddy last?
- Each unit is rated for hundreds of exhales. The exact number depends on size — the Mega holds roughly twice the capacity of the Original. When airflow becomes noticeably restricted, the filter is spent and it is time to replace the unit.
- What is the difference between the Junior, Original and Mega?
- They differ in size and filter capacity. The Junior is the compact, most portable option. The Original is the standard size and the most popular. The Mega has about twice the capacity of the Original, so it lasts the longest.
- Can a Smokebuddy be refilled or cleaned?
- No. Smokebuddy filters are sealed units and are not designed to be opened, cleaned or refilled. Once the filter is spent you replace the whole unit.
- Does a Smokebuddy remove the smell completely?
- It is designed to capture the smoke and odor from your exhale, which is the main source of lingering smell. It does not filter smoke that escapes from a lit item into the air on its own, so pair it with ventilation for best results.
